Pre-K to 2nd Grade
Elementary Author Visits
Kids are full of imagination, curiosity, and bright ideas—and my goal is to help that shine. During my author visits, I read aloud one of my published books, spark discussion about themes of hope and creativity, and encourage students to share their own ideas. Through interactive storytelling and gentle guidance, I build their confidence, inspire a love of reading, and help them see the value of their own voices.
3rd to 6th Grade
Elementary Writing Workshops
Students have a voice to share, their own way of saying things—and my goal is to help them express it. My writing workshops are designed to help them create their own writing in a safe, fun, and interactive way. Students and teachers get to experience a fast-paced, organized process where they can see the writing process in action, explore ideas, and gain confidence—because yes, writing can be fun!
6th to 8th Grade
Middle School Workshops
Middle schoolers have much to offer! I love middle schoolers. After 13 years teaching ELA and coaching writing with this age group, I know they need someone to see and pull out the best in them—in their writing, too. Too often, they’ve decided they aren’t creative, aren’t good at writing, or don’t enjoy it. My goal is to help them see that they have bright ideas to share and that writing can be fun.
9th to 12th Grade
High School Workshops
In high school, I deliver hands-on workshops and college-prep programs tailored for grades 9–12. I give keynote talks and writing workshops—first inspiring freshmen and sophomores to set vision and goals, then guiding juniors and seniors through Common App essay planning, brainstorming, drafting, and revision. Schools can book half-day, full-day, or extended visits where we partner to support students’ growth in voice, structure, and confidence.
For students & Parents
Write College Prep
I help students navigate every stage of the college application process. Through my Common App Crash Course, summer camps, school sessions, and one-on-one consultations, I guide students as they brainstorm, draft, and refine standout essays that reflect their unique stories. Whether I’m teaching in a classroom, leading a small group, or working individually, I make college prep approachable—offering practical strategies, personalized guidance, and encouragement that turn a stressful process into a meaningful milestone.
